Aston Patterning
This process includes a combination of bodywork, movement, ergonomics, and fitness training. Aston work is helpful to individuals seeking assistance with acute or chronic pain and for those who wish to improve their posture and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their movement patterns.

Bowen (Bowtech) Therapy
Bowtech is unique in the field of bodywork. Its relatively few, gentle "moves" over muscle and other soft tissue address the whole body, stimulating it to reset and heal itself. The healing may occur at all levels as needed: physical, chemical, emotional, mental, energetic, etc.

Chair Massage / On-Site Seated Massage
This method is administered while the client is clothed and seated in a specially designed chair. On-site massage can be done almost anywhere, including professional offices, work places and sporting events. Treatments usually last from 10 to 30 minutes, relieve stress and improve productivity. For businesses, this is a unique option for creating incentives, rewarding outstand-ing performers, improving morale and establishing a more favorable work environment.

Colon Therapy
Colon Therapy (also known as Colonics) is a more complete form of an enema. Colon Hydrotherapy offers greater cleansing and therapeutic benefits to the entire colon.

Cranio Sacral Therapy (CST)
CST is a gentle hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function
of the Cranio Sacral system (the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid, which surround and protect the brain and spinal cord). CST helps relieve pain from physical injury, emotional trauma and may be very effective with children.

Deep Tissue Massage
This modality uses slow strokes and deep finger pressure to release chronic patterns of tension in the body. It is called deep tissue because it focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.

Equine Massage
Equine Massage Therapy benefits all breeds and disciplines including racehorses, dressage, cutting, endurance, show ring competitors, and recreational riding horses. Massage therapy received at regular intervals helps guard against muscle injuries, maintains free flowing movements, allows efficient and relaxed gaits, and promotes all around wellness.

Esalen Massage
Created at the Esalen Institute in California, Esalen Massage is a system of long, integrative and soothing strokes focused on generating a deep state of relaxation allowing both physical and emotional healing of the body.

Feldenkrais Method
This system develops an "Awareness Through Movement" of how the body is currently moving. This is done through "Functional Integration" which expands the client's self-image through movement sequences that bring attention to parts of the self that are not involved in functional actions.

Heated Stone Massage
For these treatments, the therapist uses heated basalt mineral stones and/or semi-precious stones that represent the chakras. Muscle tension melts away as the liquid smooth stones move over them. Heated Stone Massage also aligns subtle energies within the body bringing greater attunement and harmony.

Infant / Pediatric Massage
Infant Massage is a special skill. We, as human beings, are never too young to experience the benefits of physical treatment. In fact, conditions that we often consider to be the 'personality' of the newly born (such as colic) are actually expressions of discomfort being experienced by the infant. Treatment for these conditions can begin immediately and can have far-reaching effects, not only for the infant, but for the parents as well.

Lomi Ha'a Mauli Ola
Lomi Ha'a Mauli Ola is "The Dance Massage of the Breath of Life", the unique form of Hawaiian bodywork practiced by Gregory Goodson.  This sacred form of bodywork is a powerful healing art that traces its origins to the temples of the ancient Kahunas.

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT)
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) affects every system and structure in the body by assisting the lymphatic flow. Lymph moves outside the circulatory system sweeping away cellular debris and waste. Impeded lymph flow weakens disease resistance and swells the lymph nodes. LDT activates lymph circulation stimulating the immune system and the nerves that operate our lungs, heart and other organs causing a very deep relaxation throughout the entire body.

Mari-El
Mari-El is a feminine energy-based system of healing touch that can restore a balance of the physical, mental, and emotional energies to bring about a more centered feeling of peace and wholeness. It was developed by Reiki Master Ethel Lombardi, and is named after Mary, the mother of Christ, and El, one of the names of God.

Medical Massage
Medical Massage differs from regular Massage and Bodywork in that the treatment is specifically directed to resolve conditions that have been diagnosed by a medical doctor. The therapist may use a variety of modalities or techniques during the treatment, but will focus that treatment only on the areas of the body related to the diagnosis.

Muscle Release Technique (MRT)TM
MRTTM was developed specifically to treat chronic, hard to treat muscle pain problems. Clients have experienced relief from a wide range of conditions, including localized pain (shoulder; low back; etc.) and pain from repetitive use injuries (carpal tunnel; tennis elbow; etc.). During treatment sessions, clients learn how to monitor their own body posture and practices they can use daily to keep themselves out of pain. MRTTM is founded on empowering the client so he or she can take charge of his or her own healing process

Myofascial Release
This therapy form is an effective whole-body approach for the evaluation and treatment of pain and dysfunction. Myofascial therapy produces a profound healing effect on body tissues, eliminates pain and restores motion.

Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)
This modality uses soft-tissue manipulation to balance the body's central nervous system with the musculoskeletal system. The goal is to relieve pain and dysfunction by removing the underlying cause. NMT releases spasms that cause referred pain and restores postural alignment and flexibility.

Panchakarma
Panchakarma is an Ayurvedic oil massage whereby two practitioners work warm oil into the tissues of the entire body. This helps loosen and facilitate the removal of accumulated doshas (vata, pitta, kapha) and ama (toxins).

Polarity
This therapy system involves energy-based bodywork, diet, exercise and self-awareness. It works with the Human Energy Field (electro-magnetic patterns expressed in mental, emotional and physical experience).

Pregnancy Massage
This massage approach can minimize the physical and emotional discomforts of pregnancy and childbirth and improve the quality of this transformative time of their lives. It can help alleviate the backaches, leg cramps, and swelling that often accompany pregnancy.

Reflexology
Reflexology applies pressure, stretching and movement to the feet and hands to effect corresponding parts of the body. It relieves stress and promotes health to the entire organ system and body.

Reiki
Reiki is based on the principle of Universal Life Energy or Chi. This modaliity involves hands-on touch and visualization serving to align chakras and bring healing energy to the entire body.

Rosen Method
This method is distinguished by its gentle, direct touch. The practitioner works with subtle changes in muscle tension and breathing of the client. This process helps release old patterns of tension.

Shiatsu / Acupressure
Shiatsu is a Japanese word: "shi" meaning finger, and "atsu" meaning pressure. Like Acupuncture, it is based on the theory of yin/yang and the five elements. A wide variety of techniques are used for treating points along the acupuncture "meridians" to increase or lower energy flow in the body.

Somato-Emotional Release (SER)
SER helps the body release traumas stored within the tissues safely and appropriately. Stored traumas can cause recurring behavioral problems, chronic pain, structural imbalances and other 'general’ disorders that are difficult for traditional medicine to diagnose and treat. Effective SER sessions reach deep within to the source of the symptoms, restoring health, balance and freedom.

Sports Massage
Sports Massage is used by athletes to enhance performance as well as treat specific problems, injuries and pain associated with sports activities. Therapists specialize in detailed knowledge of the musculoskeletal system.

Structural Integration
Structural Integration (also referred to as Rolfing® as taught by The Rolf Institute®) was developed by biophysicist Ida Rolf, to help people with chronic pain, tension and stiffness. These practitioners restore health and freedom of movement by working deep connective tissue to structurally align the entire body.

Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage is one of the most well-known and widely practiced massage / bodywork techniques. This vigorous system of treatment provides generalized relaxation, increased cell nutrition and improved circulation, which may reduce swelling and speed healing from injury, lower blood pressure, reduce stress and enhance the client's overall state of health.

Thai Massage
Thai Massage involves rhythmic compressions and progressive stretches to relax the sympathetic nervous system, soften muscles, re-establish flexibility, and increase range of motion. It strengthens nerves, tissues and organs while improving energy circulation throughout the entire body.
Client and therapist wear loose or stretchy clothing and are on a large mat on the floor of a well warmed room for this treatment.

Visceral Manipulation (VM)
Visceral Manipulation helps the organs of body to function well. Organs must move to function properly. Emotional stress, surgery, physical injury and trauma can all act to restrict and limit how the organs move and how effectively they function. VM gently releases the tissue surrounding and restricting organ movement freeing the organ and creating an overall sense of well-being.
