Originally trained in the humanities, Judy then studied at the C.G. Jung Institute in Switzerland, where she became interested in the relationship between soma and psyche (body and mind). She began her training as a body therapist, graduating from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1984. She has maintained a private practice since that time.
She then went on to study and become a practitioner of Trager(tm), a movement reeducation modality, for ten years. During this time she also became a certified Infant Massage Instructor and began her studies with the Upledger Institute. Through Upledger she took classes in Neuromuscular Therapy, Zero Balancing, Visceral Manipulation and Lymphatic Drainage.
Her passion was ignited by the CranioSacral work. She took the Advanced CranioSacral class with Dr. John Upledger in 1993, and has assisted many classes over the years, including the Advanced class (a practitioner must be selected by the instructor to assist with the Advanced class). She has also taken the CranioSacral Therapy for Pediatrics and The Brain Speaks workshops.
In 2002 Judy embarked on a year long training with Suzanne Scurlock-Durana called "Healing from the Core", culminating in a teacher training in Costa Rica.
Judy has been an instructor and taught many modalities in massage schools for 16 years. She was instrumental in curriculum development from the beginning at Crystal Mountain Apprenticeship in the Healing Arts in Albuquerque. In 1999 she moved to Lexington, KY, and co-founded The Lexington Healing Arts Academy, where she was the Program Director for five years and taught classes.
Dual SER sessions require at least one other therapist. Judy is pleased to work with Jeanne Elsen and/or Gregory Goodson.
Judy is once again in Albuquerque. What do her clients have to say about her?
"Words cannot express my gratitude for the increase in my quality of life -- through your gifted hands."
"Some fragrance stays on the hand that gives the rose" 'yours must smell quite sweet'.
"The love and compassion I feel from your hands makes me feel safer in the world." |

Gregory graduated from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics in 1987. He then helped found the Crystal Mountain Apprecticeship in the Healing Arts school of massage therapy in Albuquerque, and subsequently the Lexington Healing Arts Academy in Lexington, KY.
Gregory's journey continued as he became proficient in CranioSacral Therapy (CST) and SomatoEmotional Release (SER). Still, he was ready to explore more. He embarked on a commitment to studying the art of Lomi. After several years he received the permission and encouragement to teach others in the path of beauty and love that is Lomi.
Being a practitioner has its practical side, and Gregory is well-versed in treating a variety of conditions such as sciatica, whiplash, and traumatic injury using skills he has learned in all of the modalities he has practiced.
Like Judy, Gregory has also spent many years as an instructor. He was a founding faculty member for the Crystal Mountain Apprenticeship in the Healing Arts in Albuquerque and also helped found The Lexington Healing Arts Academy.
Dual SER sessions require at least one other therapist. Gregory is pleased to work with Judy Gray or Jeanne Elsen.
What do clients say about Gregory's work?
"You got me out of pain! Thank you...."
"I have never experienced a treatment like yours. Amazing!".
"Thank you for your wonderful work. It has made an incredible difference in my life. " |
