Philosophy
and Training:
Early in Rebecca's career she was drawn towards helping people with traumatic injury. She has had numerous opportunities to work with chiropractors and orthopedists since she began practicing in 1993, and often receives referrals from health professionals enlisting her skills to help provide patients relief from pain caused by traumatic injuries.
In addition to providing "relaxing" massage treatments, Rebecca is a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist (CNMT) and has extensive experience working with clients suffering pain from injuries sustained in auto accidents and from workplace stresses. Some examples include:
- those recovering from rotator cuff surgery
- repetitive use injuries
- piriformis induced sciatica
- shoulder dysfunction
- myofascial pain experienced after surgery and physical therapy
Rebecca received her training from the Florida School of Massage and operates a clinical style practice. She is one of the few massage therapy practitioners who readily accepts claims from auto accident insurance and from Workers Compensation.
