Physical Therapy
The number of massage therapists that are also Physical Therapists is increasing. Massage training adds another type of approach to the arsenal of a Physical Therapist. PT's knowledge of anatomy and how the body operates often gives them and advantage when treating acute or chronic injury conditions. Also, PT is often more readily covered by insurance (it still requires a doctor's prescription).
